The relationship between material means and spiritual principles that govern a truly prosperous society is the major theme of Material Means.
Unit 3: The Law of Ḥuqúqu’lláh
The third unit of the course on Material Means seeks to foster an understanding of the significance of the law for individuals and society and to inspire a commitment to discharge this sacred obligation. The first of the three main themes is Divine law including the role of the laws of God in the upraising of the World Order of Baha’u’llah. The second theme pertains to the way the law of Ḥuqúqu’lláh affects individual and collective life, both materially and spiritually, and how it embodies the spiritual principles that must find expression in the economic system of the future. The third theme focuses attention on the wider implications of the law for the economic systems and structures of a future global civilization.
