Way Out Of the Dead End

A Plea for Peace

Peace cannot be attained through minimal demands for short-term solutions to the problems of disarmament alone, but only through a general solution: 'The world is but one country and mankind its citizens.'

This book was written to present the Bahá'í Teachings on peace to non-Bahá'ís. Brief, witty and to the point, it is eminently suitable for use as a gift and for presentations.

We must make a great leap forward from the idea of unfettered sovereignty of national states to the principle of a world federation based on the consciousness of the unity of mankind - a consciousness born and created of the knowledge that all religions are essentially one, their founders all from God.
