About Carolyn Fox

Carolyn Sparey Fox is a professional musician based in the United Kingdom. She won a scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Music in London, and was latterly principal viola with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. She is also a commissioned composer. Amongst musicians she has collaborated with are violinist Sir Yehudi Menuhin and conductor Sir Simon Rattle, and she performed in the first London production of Jesus Christ Superstar.

As a result of her first book,The Half of It was Never Told, she was invited by the creators of the drama-documentary film, The Gate, which tells the story of the dawn of the Bahá’í Faith, to appear in the film as an expert on 19th-century Adventism.
