We respect your right to privacy under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and comply with the Australian Privacy Principles in respect of the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information.

Personal information about our customers, including your name, address, telephone number and other personal details will be used to provide service to you, and for general business administration. Your personal information will not be released to anyone other than necessary to fulfil your order. We provide your personal information to warehouse and delivery services who operate on behalf of BDS for the purposes of packing and delivering items to you, and to allow for the tracking of orders. We do not rent or sell any personal information.

Caveat: Baha'i Distribution Services distributes Ruhi Institute materials and Junior Youth Group materials on behalf of Regional Institute Boards. To facilitate accompaniment and learning, sales information of these materials are forwarded to Institute Boards and its coordinators.

If you have downloaded a digital file either for free or paid, then we may also request your personal details, for the specific purpose of understanding the needs of the population we are serving.

We will take reasonable steps to protect personal information collected on this website from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, and modification or disclosure to unauthorised persons. The personal information obtained by BDS is stored electronically by third-party services contracted by the National Spiritual Assembly. The services contracted include Shopify for eCommerce, PayPal as a payment gateway, and DEAR System for inventory and customer management

Australian-based services are bound to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles. Data managed by Shopify is stored on a secure server behind a firewall.
