Bahá'í International Community

The Bahá’í International Community represents the worldwide Bahá’í community in various global fora. It has offices in New York, Geneva, Addis Ababa, Brussels, and Jakarta. It registered with the United Nations as a Non-Governmental Organisation in 1948 and currently has consultative status with many key agencies of the United Nations. It contributes to discourses at the international level advancing understanding about how every person, community, and nation can play its part in building a peaceful and prosperous global society. One part of its contribution over the past 70 years has been the publication of thousands of statements shedding light on and inviting deeper exploration of a range of issues and principles underpinning such a society.
