Manual for Pioneers

Pioneering—a phenomenon initially established by the Báb, Bahá’u’lláh and ‘Abdu’l-Bahá—was given a new dimension when the beloved Guardian announced the Ten Year Crusade in 1953, and pioneers opening certain new countries and islands were extolled by him as Knights of Bahá’u’lláh on the “Roll of Honour”.

While the practical advice offered in this book may not entirely be applicable to all friends everywhere, the tender love and affection of Amatu’l-Bahá are apparent. She also brings to the attention of the friends the love and pride which the Bahá’ís of the world hold for those who arise to serve the Cause, particularly as pioneers, be it in a foreign land or on the home-front.
