After many wonderful years sharing children’s books with our kids, I’m thrilled to be collaborating with friends to create our own picture books. I live in Decatur, Georgia, with my husband and two children, just steps away from my parents and surrounded by incredible neighbours and dear friends—all of whom inspired and championed these projects. Writing stories for children brings together so many of my favourite things: the spirit of childhood, art, the written word, history, and the power of community.
