Miguel Gil

Born in Pamplona, Spain, Miguel Gil studied History at the University of Navarre, and subsequently obtained an MA in modern European studies (Monash University), a Postgraduate Diploma in Translating (Victoria College of the Arts), and a PhD at La Trobe University in Australia. Miguel has translated over seventy titles of Bahá’í literature into Spanish and has also served in various capacities on different Bahá’í bodies both in Spain and Australia. He is the author of Diálogo de religions: Camino de paz, and Hacia un discurso Bahá’í (Dialogue of Religions: A Pathway to Peace, and Towards a Bahá’í Discourse). He is currently finishing working on two bilingual dictionaries, Spanish–Persian, and a Persian–Spanish reader. He currently resides in greater Melbourne with his wife, Elham Sami.
