Collis Featherstone
Born in 1913 in Quorn, a small country town in South Australia, and moving around from town to town for his father's work as a railway station master, Collis Featherstone never would have imagined that one day he would visit over 100 countries in five continents to meet with Baháí communities.
In this account of his life, the reader will learn of Collis's acceptance of the teachings of Bahaulláh in 1945 and the Baháí Faith's message he shared of the Oneness of Humanity. His joyful radiant personality, enthusiasm and dedication in selfless service inspired and changed the lives of many people.
Collis worked tirelessly to support the plans of the international governing council of the Baháí Faith, the Universal House of Justice, guiding the developing Baháí administrative institutions in the countries that he visited.
With his wife Madge by his side, their global journeys included heart-warming encounters in many remote areas of the Pacific, Africa and the Americas.
Collis was an ordinary man who became extraordinary.
