Although I have lived in Asia for twenty years, it was from The Pure in Heart that I learned of Haji Mirza Muhammad – Ali, the first Bahá'í to live in China (1862-1868), of Dr Y.S. Tsao, the Bahá'í President of Xinhua University in Beijing, and of Chan S. Liu, the first translator into Chinese of the Tablets of Bahá’u’lláh.
