The World Order of Bahá’u’lláh is a collection of letters from Shoghi Effendi, written between 1929 and 1936. Collectively the letters clarify the relationship between the Bahá’í community and the process of social evolution, establishing the Administrative Order as the nucleus and pattern of the emerging world civilization.

The letters reveal the importance of reconceptualising religion such that the artificial and false separation of spirituality from the fundamental functions of civilization gives way to an understanding of the inherent coherence among the spiritual, the political and the economic spheres of life.
