Selections from the Writings of the Báb was first issued in 1976 in a hardcover edition by the Bahá'í World Centre, Haifa, Israel. A lightweight edition with an index was issued in 1982. This pocket-sized edition includes paragraph numbering and is published with the permission of the Bahá'í World Centre.
