Knowing My Inner Self
Applied spirituality for teenagers
“Knowing My Inner Self” invites teenagers on a profound voyage of self‐discovery, guiding them to unearth their latent talents and grapple with life’s most urgent questions—Who am I? What is my purpose?—as they transition from childhood into maturity. Drawing on nearly two decades of educational experience within the Yerrinbool Bahá’í Centre of Learning’s Education for Peace Program, the book employs a clear, logical tutor–tutee dialogue that leads young readers from observation and reasoning to personal insight.
Grounded in universal spiritual principles, especially those articulated by Bahá’u’lláh, each of the four major parts—addressing human emergence, the dual nature of humanity, the cultivation of inner capacities, and the mystical journey toward God—blends concise chapters with stimulating activities. These exercises encourage knowledge acquisition, critical analysis, and real‐world application, transforming abstract concepts into lived experience. More than a manual, “Knowing My Inner Self” is a carefully crafted workbook of practical spirituality, empowering adolescents to blossom into self‐aware, purpose‐driven individuals.
