Tutorial on The Promised Day Is Come

Spiritual causes of human upheavals

This insightful guide unravels the profound vision of global upheaval as a “judgement of God” and the fulfilment of Bahá’u’lláh’s promise of the Lord of Hosts. It delves beyond conventional political or economic analyses to reveal how ideologies such as nationalism, racialism and communism supplanted spiritual truths, precipitating the very convulsions the original work foretold. Readers gain a clear philosophical framework for understanding humanity’s trials and their deeper purpose.

Structured as a self-paced tutorial, each chapter emulates a personalised tutor-student dialogue, combining concise commentary with targeted questions to foster active reflection. Meticulously annotated with references from authoritative Bahá’í sources and reliable external materials, it ensures both depth and academic rigour.

Whether you seek to master the stages of society’s evolution towards a unified world commonwealth or to grasp the characteristics of the Bahá’í vision for a peaceful global civilisation, this companion makes Shoghi Effendi’s seminal insights accessible, engaging and transformative.
