Bahá'u'lláh, the spiritual centre of the Bahá'í Faith, taught that meditation is essential to understanding the mysteries of the spiritual realms, and is an obligation for those who desire divine knowledge. "It is incumbent upon thee to reflect a while," and "Immerse yourselves in the ocean of My words, that ye may unravel its secrets, and discover all the pearls of wisdom that lie hid in its depths."

Many ask, how do I meditate, and on what do I focus? Too many focus on the form of meditation rather than its content, but this is like Bruce Lee's comment in Enter the Dragon when he tells his young acolyte, "It is like a finger pointing a way to the moon. Don't concentrate on the finger or you will miss all that heavenly glory."
