Visiting ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, Vol. 2

The Final Years, 1913–1921

Stories illustrating how ‘Abdu’l-Bahá taught and interacted with others.

This book is based largely on the notes of pilgrims and others who visited the Master in the Holy Land. As such, they must be viewed simply as personal impressions, but impressions ‘of a most precious character’. Those who had the privilege of meeting ‘Abdu’l-Bahá carried these impressions with them until the end of their lives, and their pen-pictures have become an inspiration to many, both believers and the general public, in the century since His passing.

This volume begins with the Master’s return to Haifa in 1913 and ends with His passing in 1921.

About Earl Redman (author)

Earl Redman is a geologist who worked for two decades for the US Bureau of Mines studying mines and mineral deposits in more than 220 abandoned mine workings in the Juneau Gold Belt, Alaska. In 1999 he moved with his wife Sharon to Ireland, where although there are no mines in sight, his experience has been put to good use in another field, exploring the gold mines of the stories included in this book. He now travels widely and for long periods of the year and is much in demand as a speaker and storyteller.
